When jacarandas are in flower like this it is a reminder to me, that Christmas is on the horizon. Next it will be the buzz of cicadas. Jacarandas are not an Aussie tree though, but a native Brazil so, well done Brazil!
and another, just around the corner from the first one

Wonderful tree with lovely colorsed flowers....great shots Carole.
Greetings, Joop
Beautiful Jacaranda trees, I think they have held their blooms longer than usual this year.
Isn't it amazing how many here are around, they are all over town here, only medium size, and I don't even notice them the rest of the year.
They are stunning aren't they! Our town has hundreds and they are all in flower now, quite amazing to see.
Gorgeous trees, I love the blooms! Happy Weekend!
just so pretty!
Wow, these Jacarandas are beautiful. I had never seen one until I was in Florida, but they were not blooming then.
This is soooo big and beautiful.
Flowers you say bloom. They are a real eye catcher. Do they have a smell to them like Liliac trees?
Great picture you took and the background.
Oh, wow! What a gorgeous tree! I've never seen one quite like it! The blooms are gorgeous!
Color is amazing...thanks for taking and sharing the pictures Carole!
Paper Hugs,
an
It looks amazing!
That is truly amazing! So beautiful.
They are beautiful trees . The colour and the shape are lovely but the stunning beauty is hard to capture with a camera. Somehow the colour drains out even on a sunny day.
These trees are totally amazing, and so beautiful. Such a joy it would be to be in a place where these bloomed in such abundance.
What a gorgeous tree!! I would love to see one in person!! They must not grow this far north...
Aren't they wonderful!! I a thoroughly enjoying the masses of mauve flowers all over the place up here at the moment!
Far out! I don't think I've ever seen a tree that color!
