Jacaranda in flower

Had seen this one in passing during the week and had to go back to photograph the following day.  The weather wasn't good for it but I thought, don't put it off, tomorrow may be worse!  Each day that goes by there's less chance of the flowers still holding on.

When jacarandas are in flower like this it is a reminder to me, that Christmas is on the horizon.  Next it will be the buzz of cicadas. Jacarandas are not an Aussie tree though, but a native  Brazil so, well done Brazil!
