Magpie

Since the previous post was so intensely coloured with Rosella, I thought black and white would be the way to go this round.

Juvenile

an early morning, getting the feathers in order

 all was fine until ...

a Noisy Miner had the hide to fly to a nearby branch.

Later addition: Magpie in 'black and white' ...  because a comment made me do it :)

Now you have me wondering what a black and white magpie would look like in a black and white photograph.

Great post Carole! I loved your magpie. Have seen some of these, but not around Texas. Great commentary on your photos!

Black and White they may be, but they are still very good looking.

Rather jet lagged after a very long flight back from the USA!

We don't have Magpies in our area so I really appreciate your wonderful photographs!

You really show how beautiful they are, even if they can get a bit noisy!
