Great post for WBW!
What fabulous photos! It's a treat to see these stunning birds, and to hear them, too! Thank you!
I was next to you on WWW today, and I considered it an honor.
Spectacular looking birds!
Oh my these birds are so pretty. If I have this kind of birds here in Michigan I would be leaping for joy in the morning and be out in my backyard early in the morning all the time. ^_^ Awesome!
one of natures true wonders. High high high on my world wish list, one day that day will come. Thanks for sharing, stunning!

Such great colours!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
The sound from that video woke Annie from her nap, and made her prick up her ears!! it would be something to hear that wake you in the morning, going on and on....
They are such pretty birds!!!
Extreme beauty, perfect colours.
Greetings,
Filip
I cannot get over the vibrant colors of these birds! Beautifully photographed, Carole.
Such stunning captures Carole!
With those lovely bright colors they are aptly named. :)
Great photos. Even if they are noisy - I love 'em!
One of my favorite birds from down under. I would love to see them in person. Your photos and video, will do. Great shots!
Like baubles on a Christmas tree ... so colourful but they can be noisy.
I can't imagine having birds like this in my yard. Beautiful pictures! Thanks for visiting my blog.

I think these birds are just gorgeous! Such amazing colors, and your photographs of them are wonderful, Carole.
Superb captures! These are such beautiful birds. I enjoyed hearing them again, I used to live in Australia.
Unreal to have such colorful birds roaming free in a back yard. That first photo is stunning.
Looks like a mop come alive with those beauties!

These were in your yard? How lucky you are! Lovely pics of lovely birds!
These birds are truly beautiful.
Nice pictures of a colorful parrot - can be bought in this country as "caged bird" ..... think it's "just" a shame to keep such a great / beautiful bird in a cage :) Hanne Bente
Great are these rainbow lorikeets, Carole, very well photographed.
The first picture I find quite amazing.
Greetings Irma
Gorgeous birds! These are wonderful photos, Carole!
These are great pictures - I can remember the first time I saw these birds. I could not believe my eyes!
As far as I can tell oystercatchers dont eat oysters! But the do it small bivalves - like pippis - a lot of the time.
Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW

Beautiful birds and you have those in your backyard! You are so lucky. The colors are amazing. The bottlebrush is fascinating. Great hiding place for the birds. Beautiful captures.
What a wonderfully colorful bird! I think the noise is super but I might change my mind after a bit of exposure.
Great post.
Beautiful lorikeets.
