These are great, if noisy, guests!

It was one of those "were not in Kansas anymore Toto" moments when I saw them in the wide for the first time!

Beautiful colours in those birds. Fab shot "in flight" birds can be so unpredictable.

thanks to each of you for your comments, and to answer Diane asking me 'what gear I'm using'. I've updated the info and it can be found on my profile/interests. For most all my bird photographs I'm using the tele-converter lens, a 2012 purchase.

Wonderful pictures! Up here in the United States, cockatoos are in most zoos, which helped make them one of my favorite birds when I was a child. I would love to see one flying free in the wild sometime.
