This is such a fun meme... how else would I see these fabulous murals from around the globe!? These old steam trains bursting out of the walls look almost real.
Welcome to Monday Mural, Carole. All that steam and metal fairly shouts POWER. This must have been the feeling people had when they saw a locomotive for the first time. The fact that they're barreling at us from the past is almost daring us not to forget them. My hat's off to the artist. Thanks for being part of this week's Monday Mural.

Wow! Hyper-realism. Such a well executed mural it turns into a work of art. Love steam trains, but they are sooo expensive here ...
Looks more like a broken wall but superbly executed. Great mural and thanks for showing.
Your photo brought back memories from when I was a kid and steam locomotives were common. Just like in the mural they were very powerful.
I LOVE these! We are a Railroad family so trains are just naturally exciting...these are very well done!
A great subject for the Monday Mural meme. Lots of creativity in Broken Hill.
This looks very well done, especially as there is so much detail to be included in these engines.

Brilliant idea to have the trains smashing through the bricks like that - thanks for showing them Carole.

These are great - so imaginative.
DUCK! What a great depiction of realism. Super!
Love how the trains burst forward out of the wall!
Great mural. I'm always in awe how one can make this look so real. I took a peep at the Monday Mural website. Love what I saw there!
