a pretty glamorous apartment block!
Had taken my little point-and-shoot camera on the day. Hit the 'movie' button for the very first time on that one. Sitting at the end of the bench seats with my elbows braced on the window ledge, camera poised out to the ocean all the way, and videod for about fifteen mins of the journey from this point. Through the rockin' and rollin' parts of the open waters in the heads, just to give you a taste of it too. Plenty of sound effects from passengers as the swell lifted us up and over.
Closer to Circular Quay, we passed various water vessels, including another Jet Boat, sea-gulls flew alongside the ferry, and then we cruised on by the Sydney Opera House, but no video actually recorded.
Note to self: read the manual.

It was to me, like the fish that got away .....

i love the sailboat towing the rowboat. :)
It sounds like a wonderful day out Carole .. a little bit of rockin & rollin but I'm sure it was worth it . I would have taken my point and shoot on such an outing .
I enjoyed the picturesque ride, Carole. As for your movie.. 'been there done that' too!
~:)
Thanks for taking us along, Carole. It was fun even if we didn't get the rock and roll and sound affects.
That sailboat with the trailing ro boat could have many captions...certainly a photo to submit somewhere????

Gorgeous scenery...love the little sail boat.
Beautiful images, Carole! I love all the boats and the blues of the sky and water are gorgeous! Is that a hotel in a couple of the shots?
Since you asked Brian, I've added to one of those photos, that it's a pretty glamorous apartment block...
No trip to Sydney would be complete without a ferry ride!! I used to think it would be the height of exoticism to have to catch the ferry to work!!!
