Little Corella Cacatua sanguinea

Captured  on an early morning walk, this Little Corella, feasting on those fruits in someone's front garden.

this one was on a reserve by the lake, along-with

these two, the one in front would seem to be one of the not-so-common Long-Billed Corellas Cacatua tenuirostris.  Only thinking that because of the brilliant chest-feathers, since male and female of the other apparently have the same plumage.

 Crimson Rosella Platycercus elegans, taken at Jenolan Caves, Blue Mntns, N.S.W.

Eastern Rosella Platycercus eximius when there had been a feeder-stn here; removed ultimately because it also attracted a few of the sneeky (introduced), Common Mynah birds; not a desirable bird.  I'm working at trying to get more recent photos of the rosellas around here, but they're especially timid.

Out on a limb, only just in range, you get the idea.....

 Red-rumped Parrot Psephotus haematonotus, taken through perspex window at Blackbutt Nature Reserve, Blackbutt, N.S.W., ...it was a cold morning, and they'd been snoozing.

 Galah Cacatua roseicapilla, seen at the same reserve by the lake, as the corellas up top.

and finally, the Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo Cacatua galerita.  I've got a single blog-post worth of photographs of these to share some time.
