Skywatch

Have savoured this photo from January 30 till today; it's to be my first Skywatch Friday entry. A little from my corner of the world, and taken from an upstairs window over the bush-corridor tree-tops. It was the nearing  the end of a summers day, at 4.58 p.m.

Remember learning some cloud-types way back in early primary-school years; though I can't be sure what this one might be though, anyone; Cirrus maybe?

By 6.42 p.m. this is how the sky appeared in much the same location, 'cepting for I'd wanted to capture what was showing of the moon already.

I love your photos of the sky! Both the one of the clouds in such a glorious design AND the one with the moon "shining" on us in the daytime! I always love seeing the moon at night! When it presents itself during the day it's a REAL treat! Amazing to be able to see this celestial body in such detail with just our eyes!
