Often, botanical items featured, like this crocus paper-cutting, where inspiration and pattern had been found inside Claudia Hopf's Paper Cutting Pattern Book. A brush with watered-down coffee granules, and a little yellow water-coloured petals made for my rendition.
Some became cards for friends,
gumblossoms from my quilling days
...and bottlebrushes too.
the Sturts-Desert-Pea, paper-sculpture card
a play with graphics came about in this post from mushroom photos after the rains
And now it's getting out and about with my camera, mostly close to
home, and sharing photos with my blogging friends, that creates new
posts for me. Whenever I can find birds especially, and manage to
capture them in a photograph is a special treat.
So, not to let my birding friends down while I'd just wanted to drift along down memory-lane for a moment there, I've saved one especially for you too. Glad you made it this far!

Congrats on the new site -- love the last photo Carole. Hope you are well.
so no-one is mislead, this's not a new site. Same site, same name, just this post was a step-back in time as to why my blog was (and still is) titled Carole's Creative Corner.
Love your creativeness! You've made some wonderful "creations"!! That Cormorant shot is superb.
Beautiful, colorful creations Carole.

Wow...Carole, I love your creations. They look very professional with that touch of being not.
The Little Pied Comorant is a sweet shot!
You're multi-talented, Carole! No question about that. I enjoyed each and every picture.
It's amazing how we go through different stages of interest ... I was searching online the other day for a "golden syrup dumpling" recipe and settled on one submitted by none other than yourself... when I saw the photo beside the recipe I immediately recognized you from your blog photo.
I think photography is such a beautiful hobby ... where we see the world through different eyes.
los of creativity here. :)
I host a meme called N Inspiring Photography. Maybe you would like to join? I set the next up in about 12 h.
