Catalina Bay

Lake Macquarie,  four and a half times the size of Sydney Harbour, claims 174 klm of foreshore opportunities.  One of them is here, at Catalina Bay, Rathmines.

You've even got gorgeous pine trees! I'd never thought of pines in Australia for some reason. Catalina Bay is beautiful! Deep blue water!

Costas you mentioned swimming in the bay. You rarely see anyone swimming in the lake. Perhaps this is mostly due to the local knowledge that it contains
extremely dangerous razorfish
