Black-faced cuckoo-shrike, Galahs, Rosella.

Each taken with the x1.7 tele-converter lens, in the bush-corridor "out the back".  Spring is nearly here and the birds are more active again ...

All three of these birds are amazing, and you have gotten great shots of them. How are you doing with your camera stuff. Are you getting a good feel for fstop, iso, and shutter speed?

I haven't seen that black faced cockatoo in my area Carole ... it seems strange to see the rosella shape but in a different colour.

Nice set of pictures - I've never managed to get a decent shot of a Cuckoo Shrike - well done.

My wife tells me I buy far too many books in a "heartbeat" - but I just don't listen!!
