the galahs and rosellas are certainly exotic beauties, but i LOVE the subtle and dramatic colors of the first bird!!! wow!
p.s. your shots of him are in perfect light, too!
Really like these. The first shot is so perfect, and the rest are lovely too. Such different looking birds!
Beautiful beautiful birds! Spring is coming for you and fall is almost upon us up north.
These are all gorgeous birds! The Rosella is so colorful and pretty. Awesome photos.
These are fantastic bird shots!
All three of these birds are amazing, and you have gotten great shots of them. How are you doing with your camera stuff. Are you getting a good feel for fstop, iso, and shutter speed?
What a treat to be able to view these birds everyday! Lucky you!!!

I haven't seen that black faced cockatoo in my area Carole ... it seems strange to see the rosella shape but in a different colour.
I haven't seen the Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike before. Love the plumage! A handsome bird! The Galahs and Rosellas are beautiful as always!
Great photos of the birds in the trees. The lighting is perfect!
Looking at all your bird photos has me wondering what it would be like living where the birds are not all trying to hide...
Oh these are such exotic birds! Enjoyed your post very much. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Very exotic birds you have there Carol, especially the Rosella - gorgeous colours, and a pink bird, how unusual.
They're all so beautiful!! I can't say there is a favorite this week...but that rosellla is stunning....its markings are incredible.

Carole, You really have some great birds to photograph. Your photos are splendid!
Nice set of pictures - I've never managed to get a decent shot of a Cuckoo Shrike - well done.
My wife tells me I buy far too many books in a "heartbeat" - but I just don't listen!!
