Chestnut Teal. When editing the photos I was surprised to see all the bubbles from where he'd been paddling.
It was difficult to discern where the waters edge was sitting in amongst the reeds. Those reflections sure became confusing with my eye pressed to the viewfinder.

Beautiful nature :-)
Beautiful photos and nature!
Have a great day.
It's amazing the beautiful colours we find in our Australian Bush. That egg and bacon plant reminds me of the egg and bacon orchid which grows in scrubland near here ... They should be flowering about now.
So glad I ran across your blog. That first reflection shot is very nice! And "orange" Fungi?? Have never seen anything like it!!
Some of them look like oil paintings. Nice captures!
i love those kinds of reflections when they blend together. :) the churning bubbles are cute, too.
The stillness of the water in the first photo is remarkable.
Beautiful images Carole
I love the first and third pictures! It's hard to tell when they are right side up.
These reflections are great. I think its funny what we find these days when we enlarge images on the screen.

How great to have a natural site such as that to photograph! Fascinating egg and bacon plant--quite pretty flowers!
These are wonderful, Carole.
I especially love the reflection in the first one.
Beautiful photos, Carole! The first one is my favorite...that is gorgeous! How I'd love to visit Australia!
Those are pretty..especially the poppy but those reflections are great.
These are all lovely, and it is really hard to tell the end of the reeds from their reflection.
