Noisy Miners in the birdbath - video

Having a splashing good time of it too ... you might catch the Currawong calling in the background, in the last quarter.

Question to video-makers:  Apart from the somewhat irritating traffic-noise, there is an embedded Lloyd Bridges/Sea Hunt memory happening in the depths of  video recordings with my camera. Clue: For those who don't know the tv series Sea Hunt, the sound is like the diver's underwater air-tank bubbles  ...can you hear what I'm pointing out, and if so, I'm wondering what causes it?

Oh that was fun. I never tire of watching birds bathe. I think I picked up on the noise you mentioned. Does it happen no matter where you are, in all types of situations? I can tell you how you can remove the prompt to similar videos (other people's videos) at the end of your showing.

They certainly were having a good time bathing. It was so fun to see them jumping in and out and splashing.
I have my bird bath out now and the birds are really enjoying it. But I have not been able to capture any. When it warms up I will sit in my chair out there with my camera and see what I can get.

Enjoy what nature has to bring you!

They sure are having fun! Is your bath made from a terra cotta plant dish? Very creative if so.

What a delightful video Carole ... I love how one miner flits off for a while and quickly returns for his splash in the pond. I don't know what the background noise is but in this video it doesn't distract at all.

thanks all for your comments, and to Wanda, yes that bird-bath is a deep terra-cotta saucer/plant-dish. I did have to treat it first though with a terra-cotta sealer though so the water wouldn't leach through.
