Hi Carole, what a great natural beauty there. The waterfall is beautiful.Regards, Irma
Beautiful! I really like the tree in the first photo! Fantastic color in the last one!
Such a great place and so close to home. Were you on a photography tour?
thanks for comments here already ... and to Diane, close to your home not mine. Just turned into a photography tour for me; I'd naturally hoped for more of birds especially but I think the cooler weather had them laying low in the valleys. It really was a fabulous place to visit and it would be a top place to revisit during their annual 'bird week' in spring
What a lovely place to go on a tour. That strangler fig is not something I would want growning around my tree as it looks like it would be the end of the bigger tree. Never saw one of those before. Fascinating. The falls looks gorgeous too! Glad you had a fun tour!
It's really a nice place! Love that last shot. The skies are so beautiful.
loved the popcorn sky in that one shot! wow!
What a neat place. I am intrigued with the strangler fig but don't think the tree is.
Lamington National Park is so lovely! You've captured it so nicely, Carole!!
Beautiful photos from your walk! The trees and sky look lovely. I love the waterfalls. Have a happy weekend!
The strangler fig makes pretty patterns...but the name sure is scary!! :)
Sure hope the fig will not kill the other tree...pretty impressive. What a wonderful walk Carole - would love to have been along for the walk!!!Paper Hugs,Jan

The rainforest in that area is staggering - it's been a while since we last visited, but I recognised it immediately!!
