I really like what you did with this photo, Carole. What program did you use? I don't know how to do layers.
Very creative, i like the hanging over the frame look. An excellent photo.
Have a good weekend

thanks each for your lovely comments, and to Barb's "what program did you use?" I've used Corel's PhotoImpactX3 for many years. Lassoo a segment of a duplicated photo is a matter of mouse-clicking around the portion you want to turn into an object. Then you can move it to wherever you like on the original, add a shadow if it suits, and merge. You would be able to do similarly with any other photo-editing product you might have.
What such creative art, I love really love it, and I love the color!

lovely and very artistic of you. i just joined your site. my sister, Mary just invited me to. She and I have our favicons/pictures right next to each other on many sites. we started together but i've taught her everything she knows. notice: she has 100 followers today and I have only 75. hahaha. I know, join me but not her ... hahaha.

I really like that! Flowers seem to lend themselves to everything the Photoshop can throw at them.
Beautiful Carole! Love the color and how you let the flower hang over the frame. Definitely good for a card!
lovely work you have done. I love all about it.
Carol-What a pleasure to meet you! Thanks for your visit to my place-I see we both had our focus on hydrangeas. I LOVE your post processing. Again so nice to meet you.
