...come on, let's go for a walk

let's go down to Pelican Point and see if any water birds shall we?

keeping a good eye out for the pot-holes; I want photos, not a broken ankle...

be careful...

see,  some black cormorants out there, over on the right

and over in the middle, ummm ..... Crested or Lesser Crested Terns?

My goodness, Carole, what a beautiful place to be. The first photograph is pure magic.

Carole I totally love your shots here! Especially those cormarants. You did an amazing job with this, and cannot quite imagine how you got out there without breaking your neck! Looks like a hard place to walk, and probably very slippery too.

What a gorgeous coast! Love the commorants, they are kinda goofy looking.

An interesting landscape you have there Carole with those potholes in the rocks. I think the terns may be Greater Crested having those heavy yellow bills, but whichever they are you certainly got some cracking pictures.

That does look like rough going! You took some nice photos of the Cormorants and Terns.

HI Carole...Wow that is a rough area to walk, but beautiful at the same time!!
I like the Cormorant, but not so well like by the fishermen here ; )!
There always make me think prehistoric when I see them haha (don't ask why)!!
Wonderful photo's !!

Great photos of the cormorants and terns. That was a lot of potholes to navigate.

Nice pictures - I'm not going to offer an opinion on the terns for fear of looking daft!

I found the lake with the ducks on my last (work) day in Perth - I know where I would have been in the lunch hours if I had found it earlier!

Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW.
