Seen in Sydney Harbour yesterday

Location: Circular Quay.  Don't be mistaken, I wasn't sailing .... just taking photos.

315 metres (1,0333 ft) of Celebrity Solstice was getting ready to leave Sydney later in the afternoon, for 11 nights, destination top end of Queensland.

Weighs in at 122,000 tonne according to Celebrity Cruises website

Accomodates 2,850 people

or if you had to be home before dark, try this one for a quick skip around the harbour

... or the Rivercat; the view's just as good

I'll take the Rivercat! Either would be new to me. The Celebrity Solstice is massive! I would love to have a tour around the ship but not so sure about a cruise.

It's fun to just look at boats -- of any size! (Although the first is more like a floating city than a boat!)

We cruise a lot and Celebrity is our favourite Cruise line, we have been on all the sister ships of the Solstice but not yet in this one. It is most of the time in Australia and South East Asia.

Greetings,
Filip

This is a lovely looking ship! I just came back from a cruise, and am thinking that Celebrity is going to be my next choice for a cruise company as I hear so much positive about it!

Holy cow! Look at the size of that sucker! I've never seen a cruise ship in person, but it has to be very impressive to see such a large vessel up close.
