Early morning at Sunshine, N.S.W.

...yes you did read right, the location is Sunshine; quaint heh?

The morning previous as I'd stepped out for a walk, the sky in the distance was scattered with broken thick puffs of clouds. Deep coloured hues of the sunrise amongst them was something special.  I needed to be there though, not just looking across tall trees and up into the sky beyond.   Plan was to be at that location, opposite where the sun rises, to see if it would be replicated.

It wasn't,  I certainly was waiting, watching, and hoping ......but still I thought, here are some sky-watch photographs to share, from natures bounty.

 6.27 a.m.

to the left

following the foreshore alongside of where I stood

back to where the sun is rising

some ducks flew in this side of the boats

6.50 a.m.

Photos taken early this week, now the weather is windy and totally wet.  At least I was lucky to get a sunrise at all.  What a difference a day makes.

Wonderful. I need to start getting up earlier but I'll save that till when I am on the road again and have new and different scenes to photograph. Now don't hold me to that.
