Lilium

From a gift package of bulbs sent to me in 2009, this one is named Leslie Woodriff.  It grows tall, and needs staking.  The flowers face downwards and have a wonderful, heady perfume.  These photos taken moments ago ....

Looks a lot like the 'Star Gazer Lily' I used to have except it faces down rather than up...I can almost smell the delicate and heddy flower! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Gorgeous, they look a bit like a Stargazer Lily, do they smell as pretty as they look?

Wonderful looking lilies! Mind the pollen - I think it stains anything it touches!

That's right - rub it in!! I am sitting here with snow up to my armpits, and a cloudy sky, and you are showing my your gorgeous lilies and a blue sky!!!
Ah, well... They are gorgeous lilies, and the clouds will go away, sooner or later...
Happy New Year!!

These are so beautiful to look at Carole, but I couldn't be in a room with them.
