Swallows

For a moment they decided to stay put the bare branches standing in the water; some distance away though.  Didn't have my tele-conversion lens back then.  This was before leaving the Mudgee birding camp, inland N.S.W., way back in May.

Then early September, a chance to see swallows again, this time in a rural garden setting at Warren, inland N.S.W.

cooling off, on the shady side of a rustic birdhouse.

It was too quaint not to include the full picture.

i love them sitting along the branches - almost like nature's perfect christmas tree ornaments. :)

The one with all the swallows on the branches reminds me of Japanese art -- just very spare and very beautiful! I love it...we see swallows often, but they're very hard to snap, as they flit so quickly...excellent job all around!

The shots on the tree are super. Hard to get birds still. I love their tails.

What a lovely jigsaw puzzle any of the first water pictures would make.

Your rose is beautiful.
