Medley of Country Scenes

a little 'old-timer'
at Sandy Hollow, inland, N.S.W
somewhere, near to Mudgee

..this was 'the shed' but unfortunately the house nearby was hidden by trees

Kestrel Country - Wollemi National Park

no idea what; any clues?

Thanks TexWisGirl!

Jeanne it was part of my ‘excursion’ to Mudgee, on the birding trip a few weeks back.

Gorgeous photos of delightful Australian countryside. The old buildings certainly have their own character.

I knew when I saw the title there were going to be more gorgeous scenery shots! I was right. Beautiful country! I don't know what that bird is, but I love that photo.

Great photos, Carole. I love the old buildings and the tree reflections under the bridge.
I like the black and white ruffed Lemurs in the previous post too.

Carole, these are beautiful photos of a beautiful place. I can hardly imagine scenery more different from the walk in the rice fields I posted a few days ago! :-)

The place looks wonderful! The house amid the grassland, surrounded by tress is perfect countryside residing! The pebble stream is inviting :)

Perhaps a form of Gerygone? I will work on it. The tail has me stumped a bit, together with the rest.

Pale-yellow Robin ... ah but says it seldom leaves dense cover. Drats.

A Yellow Thonrnbill doesn't have the eye-patch nor the wedged-tail.

Consider a Jacky Wynter ... not the eye-ring though.
