Little Wattlebird

Having a great time jumping in and out of the birdbaths in my back garden; it's the (noisy), Little Wattlebird Anthochaera chrysoptera

On an early morning walk, the "golden sunshine" kind of flooded these pics.  This Little Wattlebird was getting breakfast from a Strawberry Tree Arbutus unedo.

Great photos of the Wattlebirds. The one sitting on the bird bath put on quite a show for you.

WOW Carole!!! These are beautiful. I love how fluffy the baby is and such wonderful close ups of the Wattlebird feeding.
Now I understand why you didn't post the Pelican for WBW (as I suggested in my comment)... these are amazing.

That little guy looks a bit like the starlings we have in the Pacific Northwest (US)..(we spend summers there)

Wattle bird? Perfect name. Isn't that just it with the sun? Never enough unless there's to much!
Cheers Carole!

I thought he was a very funny coloured bird, till I realized he was wet. When he is dry, he is much better looking. Maybe he was yelling at you for peeking, when he was in the bath!
