...frocklicking, fraternizing, feathered friends

...all's fine; just looks like a bad diving practice though, doesn't it?!

Since the Noisy Miners are taking up all the room, I'll just ...

try drinking out of this one!

while the Butcherbird waits his turn.

Following, is my first blog video-clip, Noisy Miner, Butcherbird, and the Mapgie.  Its making created a 1 a.m. marathon for me last weekend.  I'm really glad I ventured there, and I hope you enjoy it too.

Well done your first video. The sounds are wonderful the likes we do not have here in the States. It is easy to change your video into the larger format on your blog by changing a couple numbers in the html edit. If interested, e-mail me and I'll try to write it out for you.

Jedne ptaszki się kąpią, drugi się przegląda w wodzie, a trzeci się na to patrzy :-). Filmik wspaniały. Pozdrawiam. *** Some birds to bathe, a second reading in the water, and the third looks at it :-). Wonderful movie. Yours.

Oh wow, that one bird looked as if he was drowning. Going to have to take my screen off, I can see!

Lovely shots Carole of birds we see everyday. I know the Noisy Miner is a pest but I love their antics! You captured the diving so well,
And the humble Magpie - a favourite of mine to capture (and not just because it's my favourite footy team!).
Great Butcherbird shot - I am still enjoying our resident backyard family. All four of them have been playing in our garden over the last week with their bizarre antics in the pile of grass clippings.
Well done on the video - the Butcherbird has such a lovely song.

Coming over to visit from Jeanne’s blog. I can’t believe that you were able to take the shot of the little bird in the water. It looks so cute. Great pictures of birds. When I try to take their pictures in my yard they fly away too fast for me.

What a great video! It reminded me of a bunch of kids playing in the local watering hole. :)
