A smart looking bird Carole. So small and dainty someone might think it a duck rather than a cormorant until it did the "cormorant thing" spreading out to dry. Nice pics.

I'm glad you're enjoying the little pied cormorant shots everyone who's commented here, and to Ros: yes it is windy here today, tonight; not nice outdoors during the day at all. Well it is August month, traditional for the windy month isn't it just.
