The Rocks around the clock

As I walked around the oldest part of Sydney in the historic Rocks area, this tower certainly took my eye.  It just seemed to have the many elements that took to a little digital tweaking, and makes for my Creative Exchange entry this week.

The Tower is just as charming in its olde-worlde state too.

amazing isn't it how those palm trees can prosper buried in concrete

and in Lower Fort Street, outside the pub, a guy and his two loves; maybe his other love rode one of them!

looking just a tad weary

 Playfair St

And now it's "light's out" to my Australia Day adventure series; it was so nice to have you tag along with me.

What an amazing area this is. Yes, so interesting how the palms have grown in to the concrete. And love your inversion on this first photo! Have a wonderful day!

What a gorgeous building. The processing made it look very magical. I also enjoyed your last shot of the lamp post.

These are wonderful Carole, but the first one here is just gorgeous! So creative, and it looks like a beautiful painting.

Thank you so very much for sharing with us at The Creative Exchange today.

Have a wonderful evening!

Pat it's a really easy digital adjustment in whatever photo-programme you're using, look for INVERT. The result does depend on your original photograph/colourings though. This was what evolved when I did that for this one, and then I slid the brightness/contrasts about to suit. If you're not happy with the colour changes you can go into HUE/SATURATION and make alterations there also.

Very effective tweaking. An interesting series of photos. Going to the pub on horseback seems like a very wise precaution!

I want your camera :-)
Such clear and sharp images.
I know, it isn't the camera, it is the photographer.
Love the horse.
