  1. Looks like a great bird spot, Carole. I've never seen either of these species, but they are birds I'd love to see someday and you've got some excellent photos of them here. The Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater is very unique-looking!

    To answer your question on my blog about Double-created Cormorants: The double-crest is visible on adults only during breeding season. Thanks for asking the question as I'm sure others will be wondering too. I added this information to the post.

  19. Hello Carole!:) Such gorgeous birds and beautifully photographed. I notice that the lovely yellow White-plumed Honey eater has brown eyes and the other blue eyes, which really compliments their colouring. Such beauties!:)
