Port Lincoln Ringneck

After walking about the Bush Telegraph Station at Alice Springs,  N.T. this post (Snap Happy Online), I ventured outside the boundaries to the 'waterhole' behind; looking for birds.

    There is no water in the Alice Springs Waterhole, really unimaginable.

  8. Curious as to if that is a "normal" dry for the waterhole or an exceptional occurrence. I like the artwork on interpretive sign for the Ringneck.

  12. That whole area is great - but it is dry.

    We had this species of parrot join us for lunch in central AS when we were there.

    Sorry about the much delayed reply - I've been in the UK for a month and I let the blog sit on the back burner - normal service will resume soon!
