hi what a lovely series of shots you were able to take. Very special seeing the little one run around Mum and then when tired so to bed. Have a great weekend. Margaret
thanks for all the lovely comments; glad you enjoyed seeing the kangaroo and her joey. Diane b: I was just about five kilometres from home near the lake at Morisset Park. Bob Bushell: Apparently around ten months of age and joey has been working it's way to full-time independence away from the pouch.
I'm not usually one to coo over baby animals, but that joey is very cute! It must be the body proportions and dimensions that appeal - the over-sized legs, huge dark eyes, etc. Lovely photos!
thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
They are awesome shots, What a cool sight to see! I love the cute little one! Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteWell, that is just the sweetest series of shots...well done. Just makes me go "ahhh"

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Carole, how precious they are, and how fortunate you were to be able to photograph them.
ReplyDeleteHe looks a little too big to be crawling into his hidey hole. Can't imagine that being comfortable and cozy at his age.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they still stayed with their mother when they were alreay that tall. Special serie of pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip

ReplyDeleteOh my - how cute! I'm amazed there's room in that pouch for him!
