  1. A mixed bag is good Carole ...snippets from your world through your camera lens. Hopefully we will never loose the joy of capturing the every-day moments.

  3. Crow or Raven? Well one has a wedge shaped tail and one has a rounded tail. But I can never remember who has what. So I go if its big it is a Raven, small a crow. But then you need them together to tell the difference. So we're right back to where we began.

  4. The ibis look better in flight than on the ground.

  10. Hi Carole Well you made me get out my Australian bird book to see if I could come up with the answer to Crow/Raven problem. Very little difference but the tail in the Crow should be slightly braoder than the Raven and certainly in this photo there are no hackles showing, so I would plump for a Crow. (But I would like to know for diffentate) They are about the same size according to the book. Anyway, the rest of the shots are great. Margaret

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
