Hi Carole, what a beautiful parrots, beautiful species I've never seen.
There is no water in the Alice Springs Waterhole, really unimaginable.
Have a wonderful weekend.
This is my first time seeing photos of this one. Gorgeous colors!
what a beauty! sorry about the drought, though!
Port Lincoln Ringnecks are very cool. Really nice photos of them!
The Port Lincoln Ringneck is a beautiful parrot.Well done for spotting it amongst the foliage.
Curious as to if that is a "normal" dry for the waterhole or an exceptional occurrence. I like the artwork on interpretive sign for the Ringneck.
The parrot is gorgeous. I hope the birds and the other critters can find water somewhere else.
I've never seen such a colorful bird ! Really beautiful !
Have a nice weekend :)
What a beauty. Lovely photos of the area and the Ringneck.
That whole area is great - but it is dry.
We had this species of parrot join us for lunch in central AS when we were there.
Sorry about the much delayed reply - I've been in the UK for a month and I let the blog sit on the back burner - normal service will resume soon!
