Fabulous photos Carole and at the risk of repeating myself, your Australian Pelicans are very striking in their coloring, really magnificent :)

Hi Carole. I'm laughing over your Pelican pictures. Not your skills asa photographer of course but just the comical poses pelicans adopt. I never ealised they did so many strange things until I studied some captive ones at the Zoo and stood entranced.

Some lovely shots there.

And thanks for your kind comments on my Menorca post. Pity it's so far - you'd love it in Menorca.

We only see pelicans in the zoo and they fly with you in the great outdoors.

I could watch pelicans for hours - and have done so!

Great series, Carole! Definitely of our favorite birds around here with all our water.

I absolutely love Pelicans!
Their behaviour is quite comical at times. It's incredible how such a large and seemingly awkward bird can fly so gracefully!
