every colour of the rainbow .... lorikeet

While a pair of Rosellas do frequent the Crepe Myrtles for feasting, I think this pair of Rainbow Lorikeets decided to follow suit and check-in for a sample, late one afternoon.

think they got a taste for them

covered bridges are covered to keep folks out of the elements (weather) but my thought is - how do they keep them out of the weather once they leave the bridge? i wonder? but when i googled it that was what was said - which i already knew that part ... but when i started thinking - i had even more questions. guess i could research it even more.

We have tiny sparrows that consume the seed pods...but to be truthful, I'd much rather have these beauties!! ALL the photos are outstanding.

Rainbows indeed. Just amazing colours on these birds Carole. I can just imagine you clicking away incessantly while that bird fed on the fruit. It just doesn't seem bothered by you being there.

Those birds would create a twitching frenzy in the UK.
