Three bird types

Galahs feeding on White Cypress pine-cones

this Olive-backed Oriole was finishing off the final weaving of nest

I had the advantage of standing on an elevation, side of little valley, which made it easier to get a better line of sight with the camera lens

White-winged Triller (a long way out, and photo taken through fencing).  I leave this photo in since these birds are likely to be few and far between for me.

Location: Bingara, N.S.W.

  9. Oooh a White-winged Triller! Nice find! They are few and far between in Brisbane too (seeing them is a sign that things are VERY dry out west). I really like those Oriole shots too - you've captured an important and intimate moment for the bird.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
