A very unusual and attractive looking bird there Carole. It must be from one of the many bird families you have down there but which we don't share. Such an interesting name too. Lovely shots of it too which show all its features.

As a birdname that must rate alongside the Collared Pratincole and the Zitting Cisticola. Neat little bird though.

Thats an unusual bird Carole, difficult to see what species its like as it has a varied mixed appearance.
