Part of larger signage along one of the walking tracks. I watched early one morning, while the brush turkeys were scratching away in the mulches, a robin would watch while clinging on from the lower part of a tree trunk. Then fly down when the scrub-turkey disturbed something worthwhile.

ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful shots Carole, and its nice to see the "background" shot of the sign also. You did really well with some of those shots and the dark undergrowth to be able to capture the Robin. I almost feel as though I was there with you as you explain - bird-watching through another bird-watchers eyes, thanks. Richard

ReplyDeleteThanks Carole! You got some of the classic robin poses there!
ReplyDeleteSuper shots Carole. you learn something every dat - me, I never knew there was a yellow robin. Thought they were all red.
ReplyDeleteRobins are very resourceful. The Queensland version seems a much brighter yellow than in the Victorian alps. Lovely captures in that indeterminate light.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful little one, and your photographs of him are wonderful, Carole!
