These photos taken at home. Heard the chattering of rosellas landing on the guttering; had my camera nearby, and slid open a window. Moments later this female rosella flew across to the wintering crepe-myrtle tree to feed on the dried seed-pods. Just a lesser colour intensity than the male that'd visited for a mid May
blog post this year.

ReplyDeleteHi there - its a tomato sauce rosella! Nice pictures. I find these birds a little bit thin on the ground down here. I see them every so often, but I have only managed to get pictures once.
