Lawson Park, Mudgee, N.S.W.

47-year old William Lawson discovered Mudgee region in 1821, according to Mudgee History and was rewarded with 1000 acres of land for having crossed the Blue Mountains.  He later took up 6,000 acres along the Cudgegong River.
