Art Gallery New South Wales, Sydney

Some quick pics taken last week when visiting the Art Gallery of N.S.W. with friends, to see the Archibald Prize entries.

the only photo taken inside, just inside the front entry

and at lunchtime, outdoors in the warmth of the sun, this magpie enjoyed the leftovers

My favourite art on the day? Art does belong, portrait of Fenella Kernebone by Nick Stathopoulos.

  2. We walked past this one on our visit to Sydney two years ago but didn't have time to call in. I'm sure it would have been wonderful to have time to enjoy the inside as well as the outside.

  3. What gorgeous architecture! That is a beautiful building! Great black and white plumage on the magpie - a very striking bird!

  6. thanks for your comments; always enjoy reading them.

Subbu, it wasn't a crow, but a magpie; different birds, explains the black/white combo.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
