Outdoors Wednesday - Pelican Point, N.S.W.

Location: Pelican Point, at the southern end of Soldiers Beach, N.S.W.

a common seaweed known as Neptunes Necklace

if you keep on walking around the beach you'll make it to The Entrance.  That's where I'd taken the photos of the pelicans

  4. Lovely photos! So nice to see your beach views. I live in a landlocked area and haven't seen the sea for a long time, it is a minimum three hour drive to the nearest beach!

I enjoyed seeing the sea birds on the previous post too especially the lovely photos of the Crested Tern. I loved that little Superb Fairy Wren too and what a great name it has :-)

  5. I like the way the water finds its way into the rocks and makes little pools. And I love how you wrote your blog address in the sand.

  6. Pity the poor little critter who might be trapped in the rock filld with water...hope it does not evaporate before more water comes in!!!! Love your sand signing!

  9. I agree whole-heartily with Brian's comment above, Carole.. I enjoyed your lovely beach scenes.
We have a similar beach here, when the waves roll in they shoot through holes in the rocks creating a water spout.

  10. Love that you can walk along the beach. I don't do nearly enough of that. Do lots of footpath walking though, but hardly comparable.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
