Shadow-Shot Sunday at Bondi

It's the final day for the Sea Sculptures at Bondi Beach today. All those sculptures I've shown on recent posts, and many more, will be removed.   Today, Denmark's Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederick will be presenting the People's Choice,  and Children's Choice awards, at that same location.

It's a very warm 33 degreees celcius where I live further up the coast, (and it's only spring-time).  I'm sure there'll be lots of hats and umbrellas around the Tamarama fore-shores today.  Just being reminded of that huge expanse of Pacific ocean and its wonderful colour, is somewhat cooling.

  11. Oh my goodness Carol !
These are simply stunning sculptures and shadows to match and that blue sea in the background is gorgeous .. I miss the sea .. but I am originally from the Atlantic coast and we would not usually have those high temps and certainly not this time of year ! LOL
Thank you for stopping by my blog!

  15. The sculptures are magnificent. What a perfect place to display them too. The ocean gives such wonderous beauty to any photo, and these shots are a testiment to that. I think my favorite of the three is the tree.
Shadows, Art and the Ocean... Now that is a great Trio!!

  20. Despite being shiny art, these creatures have an almost organic and lifelike style. The Inochi feels like a fish on land with evolved legs to propel him. The Memory seems like bare tree in front of the sea. Both cool sculptures, reminding us that art need not be stuffy - it can be really fun!

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
