Mellow Yellow #143

Four hours west of Sydney, in central western N.S.W., Cowra boasts superb Canola crops (also known as Field Mustard), in abundance.  These crops go on to produce what is considered to be one of the healthiest of cooking oils.

  10. I also first knew this crop as rape or rapeseed. I think canola is a much kinder name. I love the brilliant yellow!

  12. Great clorful picture: yellow flowers, green landscape and blue sky.
It reminds me of our trip to Germany last year where we did a walk through rapeseed fields.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
