Orange Chat

At the Desert Park in Alice Springs N.T. were several large, walk-in aviaries.  These Orange Chats were fabulous to see.  Sure, I'd love to have see them out in the wild, but I didn't.

I went back again on our tour 'free day' to see them again.  In the early morning sunshine, preening...

  12. An intersting species there Carole, one I've never heard of until now. I'm guessing it's loosely related to the wheatear family of chats.

  18. You did not see these beautiful yellow colored birds in the wild, but in a park. It also does not matter because they are beautiful to look at. Thank you for this beautiful bird photos :-)
