Yesterday afternoon, the sun was warm/hot but I took a walk around the Casuarina (She-Oak) lined, Wangi-Wangi foreshore....to see what I could find. For today, I'll share the Little Corellas that I came across.
the variety of rustic colours intruiges me
these Corellas were having a siesta in the uppermost branches of an old Casuarina tree
...till they saw me that is
Fact-sheet on the Little Corella herefrom Birds in Backyards site
Aww, they are lovely birds, aren't they!? I really love your photo of the underwater stones though - I'd easily overlook their beauty in real life, so it's nice that you captured them that way.
Hi Carole. Great post and fantastic shots of these lovely birds. they certainly decided to start posing for you. I have only seen them once when in NSW. thanks for all the help with blogging issues.
Great thanks for the many interesting and beautiful photos. I love it, because I learn in this way new flowers and animals know that do not exist in Germany. Such parrots I've never seen. Not even at the zoo.
Such a great shot of this beautiful pair of birds! What a sweet couple they are. Also love your rocks in the water. I am also intrigued when I see clear water like this and all of the rock colors.
Which had some helpful advice. This also reminded me that once I was having some problems, and had added some sort of a sidebar thing??? which was infected in some way with a virus... I was having problems and someone told me to delete what I had added, and as soon as I did that, the problem went away. Have you added anything new???
thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
