    Nice shots carole. The friarbird doesn't look particularly noisy, just big, but I guess it acquired the name for a good reason.

    I'm fond of tiny birds we have a blue wren and family who comes every spring and summer and sparrows and a couple of willie wagtails. I keep the cats very well fed and Pidge looks after the little ones but he doesn't like the doves he chases them away.
