thanks for comments here already ... and to Diane, close to your home not mine. Just turned into a photography tour for me; I'd naturally hoped for more of birds especially but I think the cooler weather had them laying low in the valleys. It really was a fabulous place to visit and it would be a top place to revisit during their annual 'bird week' in spring
What a lovely place to go on a tour. That strangler fig is not something I would want growning around my tree as it looks like it would be the end of the bigger tree. Never saw one of those before. Fascinating. The falls looks gorgeous too! Glad you had a fun tour!
Sure hope the fig will not kill the other tree...pretty impressive. What a wonderful walk Carole - would love to have been along for the walk!!! Paper Hugs, Jan
Your Rainforest photos are amazing! I especially love the ones of the "stream with the rock bottom" and the gorgeous sunset!!! Thanks so much for sharing! hugs, Laura
thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.

The rainforest in that area is staggering - it's been a while since we last visited, but I recognised it immediately!!
