Galahs and Long-billed Corella

...this pine tree was the chosen spot for the galahs to soak up some early morning sunshine

preening

grooming

sentinel duty

and a single Long-billed Corella; the odd one out!

wondering how'd I get here; am I in the wrong place?

  4. Nice to see such beautiful birds in the wild. We don't have that here in The Netherlands. Not the tropical ones.

  11. No pink birds in KS either...except plastic flamingos people stick in their yards! You have all the interesting colors!

By the way, I mentioned your blog on my blog today. And I posted a bird shot. Not to compare with yours, mind you. I've only taken a few! The birds don't exactly sit still for you, do they?!

    All the best, Carole!

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
