Camellia, Yuletide

Autumn flowers are starting to happen on the camellias now.  This is one of my favourites because of the richness of colour, flowering right near my back door.

  14. tks everyone for your comments; I love this camellia and it has a distinct perfume too. A lot going for it! Colour, vibrancy and perfume. Geke, each flower lasts several days on the shrub, but the camellia will continue to open new buds over a period of 2 - 3 months I guess.

thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
