thanks all for your comments ... and to John (Sinbad and I), no new lens. As written in my profile, for my birding shots I most always am using the tele-converter lens. It doesn't offer me the crispest photos but at least I can edge in a little closer
I really love the Superb Fairy Wrens!! A few weeks ago, I discovered a pair nesting in our front hedge (I heard them calling/singing) but by the time I got my camera out, they flew off. And it has since been raining for almost an entire month. I haven't picked my camera up for 4 weeks!! (a record for me). Beautiful shots, Carole, of some very hard to capture birds!!
