Wow, that water looks inviting on a rare steamy day down South!!! Looks like summer is going out with a BANG! I wonder is there any part of Australia those ibis DON'T go?!?!
I would love to be playing in that water right about now. I'm tired of all the snow. The white Ibis is an interesting bird with it's long legs and beak.
Hi Judy; no the ibis weren't in the wading pool with the kids but much further along the water-way. I did wonder to myself if they would actually be drinking that chlorinated water? Maybe they've got cast-iron stomachs....
thanks for visiting Snap Happy Birding, and for leaving a comment; I can still see them. Now both my blogs are resting in idle mode. It was time to give other things priority, even though I miss my regular blogging and the feedback that came my way over the years. Take care.
love the stork! :)
ReplyDeleteAre the birds Ibis or storks? Even the Birds enjoy the Chinese Gardens. Great place.
ReplyDeleteWhat a suprise, a nice view and then those beautiful birds.
ReplyDelete...I added notation; they're 'white ibis'
